Sarah Powis

Sarah has a first class degree in European Languages (Italian, German, Spanish) from the University of Wales Aberystwyth and an MA in Translation and Language Technology from Swansea. After a year abroad teaching English in Venice and various stints working in Germany and Italy, she moved to Gloucestershire where she worked as a Project Manager for a local translation agency.

As well as being a qualified German and Italian to English translator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, Sarah is highly experienced in the study and use of translation memory software. Since 2003 she has worked on a variety of translation and typesetting projects for a range of clients including Mitsubishi UK, Friends Provident International and Southco. To top it all she started learning Arabic in 2004.
